How to setup the Emby app

When first launching the Emby app for your device you should see a screen like this…

Press the “Skip” button. Now fill the two fields out in the next screen like this…

Hit “Connect”. Now you should be on the login screen where you can use the username and password you chose earlier.

Now about requests…

NO ANIME! Your request will be denied

• You can request movies and shows using https://discover.chieflix.com
• Use the same username and password you chose for Emby
• If you visit the site on your phone you can pin it to your home screen and it will behave like an app.When you make a request I get a notification and decide if I am going to approve it or not.
• Please do not blow me up with requests.

When you hit the request button on an item you will see something like this…
The only option there you should ever have to touch is the “Root Folder” dropdown. There are two options, “/movies/Movies” and “/movies/Kids Movies”. It always defaults to “/movies/Movies”. Only change it to “/movies/Kids Movies” if you are requesting a kids movie. Same with shows except the options will be “/tv/TV Shows” and “/tv/Kids Shows”. It always defaults to “/tv/TV Shows”.
